We're an alpha team building with AI. The legal ground under AI creative work is still new — these are the terms you're agreeing to and the things we won't pretend to guarantee.
What you get when you reserve a blueprint
When you reserve a blueprint on QuarterFull, we grant you an exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, publish, share, and commercially exploit the resulting Work — to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
In plain terms: it's yours to post on your Substack, submit to agents, publish on Amazon, print as a book, or do nothing with. We won't claim it back or license it to anyone else.
What we can't promise
U.S. and Korean copyright law in 2025 both say the same thing: material generated solely by AI isn't protected by copyright. The U.S. Copyright Office (Part 2 Report, 2025-01) and the Korean Copyright Commission (2025-06 guideline) both hold that prompts alone — or minor edits — aren't enough for authorship.
So: we can give you a license to use the Work however you like, but we can't promise the blueprint or the AI-written Chapter 1 on their own are registrable with the Copyright Office. They might not be.
What becomes yours when you write
The moment you start editing, rewriting, or continuing the story — Chapter 2, Chapter 3, your own revisions — those contributions are your original work. Copyright, if any, subsists in your creative additions under the same U.S. and Korean guidelines above.
Your selection and arrangement (which scenes stay, what order, what gets cut) also counts as creative authorship in most jurisdictions, and sits with you.
One blueprint per writer
To keep the alpha fair, each email address can reserve one blueprint. A reserved blueprint is held for 24 hours before opening back up to everyone. If nobody reserves it in time, it stays open until someone does.
Once someone reserves a blueprint, the full body is locked from public view — only the writer and people they share it with can keep reading the continuing chapters.
Our services and costs
Alpha blueprints and Chapter 1 are free. We pay the model costs. Later tiers (long-form multi-chapter pipelines and premium tools) may be paid. If that changes materially, you'll hear from us before you owe anything.
If our services go down, break, or produce something unexpected (they will, sometimes — AI is messy), we're not liable for indirect damages. We'll try to fix it and communicate.
If we disagree
Reach out first — hello@quarterfull.io. Most things are a conversation away. For formal matters, these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute will be resolved in Seoul Central District Court.
